Job Title:

Head Chef

Job Duties:

  • Maintain the restaurant’s P&L, managing labor, training, weekly scheduling, weekly

inventory, ordering of all products, vendor management, and menu management with

knowledge of how to make recipe cards.

  • Coordinate daily Front of the House (Store Front/Customer Service) and Back of the

House (Kitchen and Back Office) of pizza restaurant operations.

  • Regularly review product quality and research new vendors

  • Organize and supervise shifts including all scheduling and time off requests

  • Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity

  • Estimate future needs for goods, kitchen utensils, and cleaning products

  • Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations

  • Control operational and inventory costs and identify measures to cut waste

  • Create detailed reports on weekly, monthly and annual revenues and expenses

  • Recommend ways to reach a broader audience by using specials, discounts, and social

media ads.

  • Be capable of managing and increasing the social media footprint for the restaurant. This

includes taking and using pictures of the food for posting weekly on these platforms.

  • Train new and current employees on proper customer service practices and in the kitchen

on making the pizzas correctly.

  • Implement policies and protocols that will maintain future restaurant operations.

  • Preparing from scratch Alfredo sauce, Cannoli, Tiramisu, and homemade bread

  • Supervise 2 cook, 1 dishwasher, 1 pizzaman and 4 waitresses.

Work Schedule:

• Number of hours per week: 40 Hours per week.

• Daily Work Schedule: Wed-Sun 1pm – 9pm

Education:

High School Diploma or its foreign equivalent

Experience:

Three Years of Experience as a Chef. Experience to include, 3 years of experience in:

  • Preparing from scratch Alfredo sauce, Cannoli, Tiramisu, and homemade bread

  • Maintain restaurant profit and loss reports
